An ode to Blueness

They say there are blue skies
not sky-blues,
blue waters, but not water-blues,
but our mountains are also blue,
so too, the road,
so widely bluescaped
blue-arteried by river,
blued by cloud and mist
and there’s engineered blue too,
a blue-spotted map
the wellassa of the hundred thousand waters
and the cross-pollination of blue
we are blue in embrace and resilience
is our many-blued land
an indelible signature surely
of the blue planet
Earth.

  1. when ever you choose Ms. Hiranya Malwatte's photography i forget the colours of your words. i only remember the art of her eye that knows to capture the different shapes and sizes of this earth and the colours too.

one can not see or feel the true colour of this earth if you don't find all these other supporting features of this universe ... the sky.. the trees... the oceans... the sun and moon. And how can we really see the true colours of this universe without 'human beings?
