Readers

Some read words
some read into words
some find phrase in gesture
signal in act,
dismissal, indifference and come-on
some read word in silence
and vice versa
and some know nothing
not of word or run-on line
oblivious to rhythm and meter
the syntax that reveals
the pause that hides;
they just read eyes.

  3. So whom do you prefer? Those who just read eyes or those who are very conversant with rhythm and meter?
