some read into words
some find phrase in gesture
signal in act,
dismissal, indifference and come-on
some read word in silence
and vice versa
and some know nothing
not of word or run-on line
oblivious to rhythm and meter
the syntax that reveals
the pause that hides;
they just read eyes.

ReplyDeleteSo whom do you prefer? Those who just read eyes or those who are very conversant with rhythm and meter?

ReplyDeleteA good question,how do you determine that those who read eyes are not innocent or good? What is the yardstick you adopt?
